You will require the following
- If your hair is to be wrapped, then take an old towel.
- Take a bowl or pot filled with some hot water for warming oil bottle.
- Take healthy oil or hair oil of choice.
Directions to follow
- Keep the oil bottle in hot water bowl or pot and wait for couple of minutes allowing warming up of the oil.
- Then, part your hair right at the center. Apply oil lightly onto your scalp all along the part. This is to be done in the various sections of your head. Now. Rub oil into the scalp and ensure that it does not drip down your head.
- Start massaging your scalp and hair.
- Make circles on every side of the head by applying firm to medium pressure. You can feel scalp movement over the skull, which is likely to offer a wonderful feeling. It drains out lymphatic fluid, thereby boosting healthy growth of hair and to avoid tension headaches.
- Rub in circles clockwise, in slow and gentle motion at the head to for activating Adhipati or the marma point. This points needs to be rubbed gently at any point of time by using or not using oil. It is sure to offer you with calmness and peace. Placing your hand base at the forehead top portion at the hairline is this particular point. The portion where your middle finger stays is known as Adhipati Marma.
- Tilting forwards your head, massage the back portion of your head using your thumbs. This helps to release tension and stress.
- Then, take some bunches of hair and twist them in clockwise direction and pull gently. Since hairs are connected to a small muscle, this particular action will ensure boosting flow of blood to the region.
- Eventually, the oil will go down into the hair shaft. However, if you plan to create an oil mask, then more oil is to be taken in your hands and massage it down the hair tips. Pile your hair over your head top and then wrap it in a shower cap or plastic bag, thereby generating some heat.
